This isn't reported before as far I'm aware. And yes, their appears to be a problem with indexing.
Steps to reproduce (in my case)
1. Some dummy text in notepad txt file with some content
2. Insert -> Notes from attachments -> Select the txt file in a new section
3. Set global search scope to ...

Re: Forms - Ability to Create Folders
Is it an option to re-use the attribute panel for this purpose? Yo can create 'folders' for your custom attributes and it's more efficient regarding screen-estate

Re: Multiple tabs within one section
Question is UI design. The sections (and potentially subsections) are represented by tabs in MyInfo. This is in principle fine. However a different way tabs being used to show different documents (in editors). Say like NotePad++: each file is shown in a different tab.

Re: Sub-Sections
This is in development, I think. I'm personally a bit ambivalent about this. The amount of subsections/captions being hidden, until the top section being activated. So there is a hidden structure. I tend to forget my own organization principle. So I prefer to be able to see the whole structure ...

Re: Multiple tabs within one section
I surely grasp the request. Although I'm unable to visualize a UI including proper workflow which would allow this. Somewhat connected: I would also like a side-by-side view. So having 2 notes op at the same time side-by-side.

Re: Export notebook to json file for local AI applications
True. Well +1 from me.Crystal401 wrote: Sat Jul 26, 2025 9:37 pm Export to json would take much less effort.
I am thinking of a 50% solution, where AI will have read only access to a
snapshot of the data.
I proposed json as AI tools will have a much easier time to parse json format data.

to use local AI applications to read the content of the mio file, and to come up with interesting use cases.
It's not clear to me what you exactly mean by this:
A. Letting AI read the content to come up with interesting use cases for the data stored within MyInfo?
B. (I) to use local AI ...

The answer to question A) is "No".
Thanks for quick reply. The upside: this makes testing a lot easier
To limit the scope
* It does happen regardless the default backup path or the manual path
* Windows 11 24H2
* Normal install I assume, based on "uninstalled and reinstalled MI8"
