Can anyone share straightforward instructions for how to set things up so that I can, in one step, generate a new note that has a set of attributes at the top. Thank you. This feature is what puts MyInfo ahead of Evernote and OneNote. In both of those (Evernote is better) you can create custom tags for things, but you can't really do anything with them!
