Telesto, you are correct. My prior comment in this thread left much to the imagination. For the reason, I am going to write a new post to explain and clarify. Happily, this new post will contain what I hope will be a permanent resolution to the main issue I was having with MyInfo.

blopplop, I just tested dark mode and the issue you describe also occurs for me.

I have a growing list of other issues with MyInfo to the point that I stopped using the program. I will continue to install updates to the program as they are released hoping the issues that occur for me are resolved ...

To recap, the problem was MyInfo 8 was not indexing PDFs imported into MND files to be able to Search for content in those PDFs. To fix the problem, I went through these steps:

Step 1: Uninstall MI8 app and then reinstall MI8.
Result: MI8 Search would not find content of PDFs in existing MND files ...

I haven't yet tried fully uninstalling MI8 and then doing a complete reinstall. Great idea. I will give it a try and hope that it works. And I will let you and others know what happens.

Telesto, thanks for confirming the problem. I've reported this twice before this particular posting: first in 2018 when working with MyInfo 7 and 16 months ago with MyInfo 8. It is not major issue preventing the use of MyInfo but it is a hassle.

Whoops. Learned I could customize the View drop down menu by using Tools > Customize > Commands. I was able to add the Zoom items to the View menu by opening it and then dragging-and-dropping my desired Zoom commands to that menu.

I am using MyInfo 8 version 8.5.0 [8162].

I can still zoom the text editor with Ctrl + Mouse scroll wheel combination. However, the Zoom command is now missing from the View menu (see attachment). Is that on purpose or is it a bug?

Thought you might want to know about this minor glitch:
1. Open a Note in a new window
2. Menu | Insert | Horizontal line
3. Nothing happens

Close the window and Insert Horizontal Line does work in main editor.
