Generally when I delete an item I run the compact ( My OCD kicking in ), not a big deal just a cosmetic enhancement.

Telesto - thx, that works great using the Main perspective, however it does not work on user created list perspectives where you add multiple columns.

Please consider allowing the ability to update the context menus with any of the global buttons. Example: when I right click on a note the context menu may not have a button option such as "Open In New Window" which would be quicker than clicking on the Window drop down menu or the ellipse...
