Background Colour

I often like to use a pale yellow background when writing in MI. Back in version 6, and now in version 7, when I enter text onto a pale yellow background, the background disappears from the actual line(s) of text, becoming white. What I am left with essentially is a note surrounded by the pale yello...

Calendar in MI 7

Does MI 7 have a calendar feature, or was that dropped?

Thanks.

[solved] Grid lines between coumn items

Does MyInfo 7 allow for grid lines to visually separate items in columns? I could have grid lines in MI 6, but I don't see how I can do it in MI 7.

Thanks.

Re: Upgrade to version 7?

Petko, have you seen this post? Thanks Daly Petko, will we be able to write and edit in multiple windows in version 7? If I recall correctly, when you introduced the multiple windows feature, you had said that in the next version writing & editing in multiple windows would be added. Thanks. Daly

Re: Recent Difficulties

Petko, thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I can get the tag and comment capability to work if I select a cell, and use F2. My understanding was that it should also work if one just clicks on the cell, but whether I single or double click, there is no response. Nonetheless, F2 works, and that is goo...

Re: Paste to Commennt Preview not working

I just wrote a post w a few items of concern, and the comment preview window was one - for me, along with the tags window - it just doesn't pop up at all. This means I have to use the attributes sidebar at the right of the window - this is ok, but it takes space, and I'd rather not have to use it un...

Recent Difficulties

Petko, it's been a while since I've been on the forum, and I hope you are well. I have observed some situations where MI doesn't appear to be responded as it should. They are: Tag space for creating new tag doesn't open when I click on the cell in the tag icon column. The space for creating new comm...

Re: MyInfo 5.50 Beta

Hey Fred, one more quick response, re Surfulater. Neville, its developer is always responsive. I use both Surfulater and Evernote for clipping, primarily web clipping. In many ways I prefer Surfulater, and would use it if it much more if it had cloud synch. I have followed Neville over the years, an...

Re: MyInfo 5.50 Beta

Fred just a quick reply in a light vein after a first glance: my Latin is rusty, but I knew the meaning of finis. Since you were using it as a name and are male, I shifted at least a little into the realm of romance languages, and the M was for the honorific monsieur. Though I have a French name I k...

MyInfo 5.50 Beta - Offtopic

Fred, thank you for the kind words. I'm doing better, hope to return to work in January. Even with the insurance company (and I have a good insurer) paying disability monthly the last three years have brought me slightly over the brink of poverty (grin), and it has been tough. But things are looking...

Thanks, Petko. You are right - I misunderstood. Thanks for clarifying.

Re: MyInfo 5.50 Beta

Petko, thanks for the reply. Good to see read only is a temporary restriction. I don't have the professional edition - given I am still on disability I can not justify even the small expenditure to upgrade simply in order to take part in the beta testing. I wish it was otherwise, but hope you can un...

Re: MyInfo 5.50 Beta

Petko, please add me to the beta list. Good news indeed! Re multiple open windows, read on, may I seek clarification? Is it all windows that will be read only, or just the open windows separate from the active window adjacent to the tree? Why is there a limitation or read only, rather than being abl...

Re: Timers

Petko, I agree with the request for timers. In terms of the topic I am putting together for the client with executive function issues (referred to in another post to this forum), such a capability would indeed be relevant and helpful. It'd also be helpful for me when I am tracking work. Thanks for y...
