Backing Up Local & NAS
I store most of my version 7 notebooks in Dropbox and back them up (via Tools>Options) to an NAS drive. No problem.
However, I have one notebook that is stored locally but it backs up to the same directory as the original and not the designated backup location. The same thing happens on a second ...

Re: [added] How do I create a Date Search?
Ahh I see. This is syntax I am not familiar with. I see I can create a search for a specific date; 6/11/2021 by
created:20210611 -created:20210612
I did not realize I could compound them. And I am chagrined to admit that when I started my post I had not read far enough into the Help manual :oops ...

Re: [added] How do I create a Date Search?
Date search was added in MyInfo 7.1.
Hi Petko!
Thank you for this but I can not figure out how to make this work. Here's what I've done.
To test, I have a notebook open, and created a note today 6/11/2021 (using format shown in Section Created column)

Re: How do I create a Date Search?
I just saw that I can customize the List perspective to Filter by date, and although it is also per Section, the List perspective can be duplicated to run through other Sections

Re: How do I create a Date Search?
Here is what I needed to do...
There was a conflicted copy of a Notebook and I wanted to see what notes might have been created on the date of the conflict to merge them into the regular Notebook.
Here is what I did (but it will only work per Section)...
My Section default was in Tree perspective ...

What are the search terms to find all notes in a notebook that were created on or after a certain date?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Modify Default Notebook Template
The app window shows either the current section or the notebook depending if the Disable Multi-Section Support option is active.
Correct...is it possible to show the Notebook name too?
Let's say I have 4 notebooks open (different names for different topics, so for this example N1, N2, N3, N4 ...

Re: Modify Default Notebook Template
I think we are talking about the same process.
-Create a new notebook, modified conditional formatting options for empty notes to be blue color
-File, Save As > navigate to my template location (which I set in options)
Then created a new notebook based on that template:
-File, New, From Template ...

[confirmed] Continue after Hyperlink problem
In V6, after inserting a hyperlink, I would only have to type a space after to then continue typing on the same line.
In V7 the only way to "disconnect" from the hyperlink is to press the enter key taking me down a line. Is there a hotkey or can the previous behavior be reestablished please?

Re: Modify Default Notebook Template
I see I can create templates for Notes, but where do I create a Notebook template?
If I create a blank Notebook with the conditional formatting to change the color of blank notes (which I need to do in every Notebook), then Save As with a new name, MyInfo sees it is a copy and asks to make it ...

Sorting Notes V6 vs V7
In V6 we had a very flexible alphabetical sorting mechanism that allowed us to choose the hierarchy and specific subset of our documents to sort.
In V7 I can only find Tools>Sort Siblings Once which sorts all the top level notes in a section rather than being able to select a section for sorting ...
