Thanks for your candid reply Petko. I find some reassurance in what you say and that MyInfo has a future. I have written a number of reviews on various sites and I hope to offer MyInfo a glowing report in the future.

Funny you should mention it ... I'm on that thread under the 'Richard' nic. I've put a good plug (awaiting moderation) for MyInfo, especially in the light of Petko's recent comment to publish a roadmap.

Richard, I was willing to make a commitment to MyInfo despite this gap, but I agree that the lack of exact-phrase searching is extremely exasperating. Nearly all other note-taking programs do offer it.

I have 'All topics ' and 'Show Details' checked. Then if I enter a known search string with more than one word it ALWAYS returns all the words, but not the exact phrase. Using " " returns no results also using the ...

Ok, thanks for the comment Petko. I'm beginning to find this application invaluable in my daily routines and it would be great to see some of these little tweaks to make things go smoother.

Over extended use, I'm finding the split page of web resource and notes difficult to handle. If I open the webs resource pane up fully to see a captured web page, then move onto another document with a web page capture, it has defaulted to a 50/50 split again.

Can I suggest an option to show these ...

I also think that the search function needs improving. The wrap around function badly required, especially for large documents. In addition when global searching I cannot get multiple wod strings to work, even by using the AND operator likwise + . The search falls down badly on a system that is ...

Inserting objects seems to be very demanding compared to some other applications. For example, if I want to import a pdf, from the MyInfo insert menu I have to make at least ten clicks to import an object, including an icon to identify it.

As a further enhancement to the web capture, it would be useful to be able to capture a web address directly from the browser.

1- Right click on a web page
2- select 'Bookmark page in Myinfo'
3- Page is now bookmarked as a web address
4- ideally routed to a user specified topic

I would very much like to see word count and character count in the MyInfo status bar. We can see many attributes for documents, but for some reason these appear to be missed, or have I missed it??!!
