Yes - I just installed the updated "Send To MyInfo" Firefox plugin, and it totally messed up the Firefox toolbar: suddenly there are about 40 icons in five rows, many of which are duplicates.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, with the same result.

For now I have uninstalled the "Send to ...

I'm not especially interested in a format painter; I rarely use the feature in Word.

However, I do make constant use of the Style feature in MyInfo, but I find it a nuisance to scroll through the dropdown menu past many styles I never use to reach the 3 or 4 styles that I do employ.

So my wish is ...

Upgrading is for people who want new features.

Some of us think it's worth paying for value received, some apparently do not. Different philosophies, I guess.

I'll agree to disagree here.

For the sake of argument, I will set aside the fact that the people who are complaining basically bought the program at half-price, though I would dispute the contention that this is not relevant to the question at hand.

Nonetheless, I still don't understand the reasoning behind statements like ...

Well, to be accurate, he paid $30, not $60, for a perfectly good copy of MyInfo.

His complaint seems to be that he feels he deserves a free upgrade on top of that.

So let me see.

You bought the program at a discount price and used it for two months.

You are being offered a discount price for an upgraded version, if you want it.

And you're not happy and want your money back on the version you are using.

Yep, think that covers it.

Sorry, Petko- perhaps I did not explain clearly.

This happens randomly, when I am trying to use the "Send To MyInfo" extension in Firefox. I often clip material from newspapers all over the US, and I cannot find any reason why this problem occurs with some sites and not others. It happens most ...

Running 4.23 myself.

And I'll emphasize- this happens often, perhaps once every 2 or 3 days, on a variety of web sites. It's not as if this was the first time I encountered the problem.

Thanks for looking into it!

Thanks for the response, Petko.

There is not one particular web site where this problem occurs, but it often happens when I clip articles from newspaper web sites.

The most recent example is here:

List Index Out Of Bounds

Frequently, when using the "Send To MyInfo" extension in Firefox, I get the error message "List Index Out Of Bounds (5)"

Sometimes I can paste the material into the document manually and continue working, sometimes I have to shut down MyInfo and restart it.

Any ideas on what is going on and how to ...

CPU Activity

I've noticed recently that, while running MyInfo Pro 4.02 on my IBM Thinkpad laptop, the CPU temperature skyrockets from its normal 53-58 C to a worrisome 80 C.

Opening the Windows Task Manager, I note that MyInfo accounts for 97 to 99% of CPU activity, regardless of whether it is maximized or ...
