I see. Could files be added? There have been cases where I would like to put filenames into the tree and it would be nice to have them clickable. I understand there are ways around this... but it would give another option. I agree that documents links shouldnt be in the treepane... clones handle tha...

You should be able to just install over top of 3.59. That's what I did. As long as you dont uninstall first and put 3.60 into the same folder, your settings should be retained.

I dont know why this is the case either. I've copied links to other documents into a document's title, but then realized this is what clones are for! But doing the same thing to a file does not open the file when the link is clicked. I thought previous versions of MyInfo enabled links in the tree......

Hanging Indents

Can hanging indents be added in v4? It would be nice to be able to specify an indent on the first line of the paragraph and also be able to specify that all lines except the first line have an indent.

Also wanted to thank you for the blog petko... excellant addition!

Join Lines command

Just something I'm missing from Keynote (ctrl-J I believe): a command that takes paragraphs that are manually broken by newlines, and put the lines back together. I suppose a find/replace could do this, but it's so much more convienient to be able to select the paragraph and click a button to join i...

One real quick comment about that Petko. Since the treeview does not allow cell wrapping, if you have a document with a bunch of tags, that column can get pretty big.

This may or may not be solvable, it may or may not be a problem, just pointing it out.

[fixed in mi360]Printing Document Background

Could you make it optional to print the document background? I use a light yellow as a background for the tree and document panes (easier on the eyes than white), but I dont like having to change the background when I print. Perhaps this could be a per-document setting?

Petko, as I've been using MyInfo I've been inserting bunches of these page breaks... will it be possible to do a find/replace on page breaks to insert the new horizontal line? Not a huge deal, but it would be handy... to me... once...

But that one time would be much easier!

Ctrl-Shift-E for minimizing treepane Ctrl-Shift-R for bringing the treepane back Your second request is an interesting idea. I kind of like it, though I dont know how complex it would be to implement. I have seen some other information programs have another pane for detailed data... definitely somet...

I second these two requests! I know various export features will be addressed in v4 but these would be nice additions.

Hadnt thought of that... how would I test for it? If it's not in the taskbar or the systray, how would I bring it up to check? Use windows task manager? I'm sure it's an odd quirk somewhere (perhaps even my computer configuration), that's why I didnt mention it for so long. I dont lose data so I'm n...

I was looking through the "What's New" for 3.58 and noticed that their is a drag and drop shortcut for cloning. Press Ctrl-Alt and drag and drop the document.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean! When I enter my password and the machine comes back up, MyInfo is gone.

This doesnt totally take away from your request, but you can put a clone button on the toolbar.. I've used that and it is nice. But, be warned, if you want to clone subdocuments you will have to go through the menu (sort of like the difference between "Print" and "Print..."). How...

This may be solved... I clicked on the Acrobat Reader 8 shortcut in the start menu, Adobe "configured" itself (despite having worked otherwise for a few weeks), and now the links are working again. I dont know what happened, but it's fixed for now.
