Entering Data
I was wondering if any thought will be given to data entry in v4. Currently entering data in the treepane can be tedious. Could the interface be made more like excel. (one quick example would be something to copy the cell directly above. In excel, ctrl ' does this.) Or, does anyone else have ideas t...

Along those lines Petko, can you make the background colors of the tree and editor panes topic specific rather than program specific? I admit, this is a pretty trivial request, but one thing that I find myself trying (or wanting) to do. For a lot of the color/format settings I think it makes sense t...

Just one comment on the KISS idea. I totally agree with the main interface. I feel that MyInfo has done an excellant job on keeping the working window free from clutter (good job!). But, one area that could use a little more complexity is the options dialog. User-configuration is very important and ...

Cool! Could you write the results of your test here? This is seemingly trivial but it is a major annoyance to me. I like to resize the treepane to suit what I am doing, but in MyInfo I cant do that because it takes another 5-10 minutes of setting the columns back to where I want them! Thanks for con...

I wold like to add a request for treepane column resizing. Could this please be made the same as other programs? Currently, if you resize one column all the columns resize. It seems like the program is trying to make sure the columns always fill the treepane horizontal limits. This makes it extremel...

For a quick introduction open up MS Word or OpenOffice Writer and click on Insert -> Fields. There you can play with them and see them in action. How could this be useful for MyInfo? The simplest version is a treepane field inserted into the textpane. (Actually, the simplest version would be date/ti...

No, not currently supported. I agree with you 100% here and, if I recall correctly, petko mentioned that future versions would have sort of treepane export. Personally, I think there should be a few more standard plugins for the import/export... I likewise would really like to be able to export data...

Suggestion: Fields
I would like to suggest adding fields to MyInfo. Essentially, fields would contain texted linked to somewhere else (sort of like cloned documents, but more specific). There are two different ways fields could be used: 1. Fields from the treepane could be inserted into the text pane 2. Fields from th...
