Thanks. GREAT idea.
Uservoice is fantastic. Thanks for providing that to us. I know that planning the architecture and features of a product and negotiating b/t lots of feature requests is a challeng. I hope UV will help with that.

Thanks!
Thanks for the fast response. I bet ya' love it when you get a question about a feature it already has, huh? <g>. As a shrinkwrap software company owner, I know *I* love it when that happens.

+1 for UserVoice. It is quite good.
I was going to suggest that but understand that Petr (sp?) has only so many hours in the day and he already has this forum all set up. And I've already made enough suggestions on the *product* so I figured he didn't need suggestions on his forum too <g>. But UserVoice is a great tool. Probably isn't...

Allow selecting multiple items with a Filter or Tag result
One way to extend the power of filters is to be able to: 1. Filter 2. Apply a tag to all the results. E.g., I'd like to be able to search amongst *only* projects. I assign a special icon for projects so I know what's a project. (I posted this problem elsewhere and suggested the ability to do a keywo...

+1 for this feature and the above imlementation.
I think that if you select multiple items then a Move would work the same way it would if you selected just one: Sub items get moved with the main item. If you select an sub-item of an already selected item such as: 1. Project <selected> a. Task (1) Sub task <selected> Then there are two options: 1....

Please vote: Search within Filter or Tag results
Add a textbox at the top of the results of a Tag or Filter "search" labelled: Search within these results: [ ] This would let you "drill down" within those results. Ideally, it would let you continue to narrow the search (although you could also just add more search terms to acco...

Suggestion: let users vote on *multiple* new features
If you let users vote on several new features at once, you might get a better idea of which features are most popular.
E.g., there might be some features that are not anyone's #1 most desired feature but might be everyone's #3 most desired feature.

A "search within these results" would be extremely
I'd find it very useful to be able to search within results. That could apply to results from a Filter or from clicking on Tags. Perhaps you coudl just have a seach box at the top of the search results labelled: Search within these results: And you could let continue to search within those results r...

How do you search for a particular Project (root document)?
I tend to have dozens of project going with dozens of tasks in each. So, I might for example find a good book to read on Google Adwords and think "I'll add that to that project dealing with Adwords optimization". So I search on "adwords" but I get 37 results. I'd rather not read ...

Is there a way to have one document appear in two places?
I sometimes have tasks that should appear in two places. For example: I have a project "Verify foreign language work with all programs". I have a task for each program "verify program X works with foreign languages". But I'd like include the "verify program X works with Hebr...

Move filter drop-down list to the *bottom* of the window
When you select the Filter tab you then have to look up at the top of the window to pick a filter (if you're not usng the default filter--which is a cool feature btw). This causes both confusion (user might not immediately discover the filter list) and then later usability (you have to make a fine m...

I don't know why I asked for this
I was looking at this request again and can't remember why I needed it.
What I really needed was to be able to push a task back a week or a month and get it "off my plate" but have it show up again.
I can do that with the "Due Date" "in the next 7 days".

Any way to Filter on "Started On" is Today or ear
Only two ways I can see doing this kind of Filter (and nether work as desired) are:
- [Started On] [Today]
or
-Started On BEFORE MM/DD/YY
But... the problem is that the MM/DD/YY is *absolute* not relative. So I can't say "Before Today".

Post your suggestion seperately?
wsp. I didn't immediately spot your suggestion in that forum (i.e., it was buried in the responses of the forum)
You may want to post it as a separate suggestion (or even in this post) just so other forum readers can see it as well.
Just a thought.

Search only within filtered items
I use MyInfo for my task lists. I have a special State for projects and I can filter on that state, but then I would also like to be able to search within my list of projects. I can create a new filter everytime I do this (or modify the existing filter) but that's a lot of overhead. It would be idea...
