Re: Filters: last week and last month not working

I just created a test file to reproduce the problem and now I think I understand. As I wrote in my last post I mixed up "last month" with "last 30 days". I think MyInfo works correctly: I now get all my documents for January with "last month". "Last week" work...

Re: Opera

Sorry Aranoff but you are completely mistaken: this forum deals with the software MyInfo and has nothing to do with with the web application rider.edu is running on their web site. You would have to find out who is developing their MyInfo and see if they can fix the login problem.

Re: Import Plugin: custom columns don't work

I'm using the LCC C-Compiler for the plugin. Here is the code snippet: //-- Fill in all MyInfo custom attributes in the correct sequence: document->ColumnValues[0] = '\0'; for (int i = 0; i < gCustomAttribMax; i++) { //-- check that maximum capacity of ColumnValues is not exceeded if (10001 > strlen...

Re: Filters: last week and last month not working

Can I attach a file within a private forum message ? Don't think so. Where shall I send the file to ? I still can reproduce the problem, but got a bit unsure about how the filters are supposed to work. Let's take "last month" as an example. Does "last month" mean: "the last ...

Re: Problems using internal browser

I will test the fix with the new beta and report.

Are you still persuing the other two, or is there definitively no chance ?
Personally I attach more importance to the Enter key.

Re: Opera

What do you mean by "logging in to MyInfo" ?
I'm using Opera all of the time and have no problems using the forums.

Re: Hyperlinks between topics?

You can, but it probably does not work as you would expect. If you select some text and click "Insert Hyperlink" you can only select documents from the current topic. Try it the other way round: go to the document you want to link to and select "Edit / Link to this document" from...

Filters: last week and last month not working

These filters do not seem to work. I tried to get them working on the field "Created on".
Filters like "last seven days", "today", "after" etc. are working.

Import Plugin: custom columns don't work

Petko, I need a little bit of help from your side, because I'm not successful with importing custom columns. Some details: The custom columns are created in the topic, but they are not filled with the corresponding values for each document. The values for the built-in attributes like Title, DateCrea...

Problems using internal browser

Petko, as I wrote elsewhere I'm haveing some problems when using Internet Explorer as internal browser: 1) When I switch to another topic and then back to the topic with the web browser, the browser falls back to the initial web page. Difficult to explain: try it out with the Milenix forums: open th...

Re: MyInfo 5.50 Beta feedback

Petko, I've tested the MyInfo Beta with my topics and found no problems. Since I'm a new user the number of topics isn't that big, so don't weigh that information too high. I did a multiple platform check so at least I can assure you the beta runs under Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista. I'...

Re: Cannot save new filters

Filters are saved as *.mif files. Moving your topics to another directory shouldn't have an impact on this. Please search your harddisk for a preconfigured filter, e.g. "Active Tasks.mif" and check whether you can create a file in this directory. Normally you will find this in the user's a...

Re: Import problems ...

Marcus, exporting to CSV from askSam and importing into MyInfo is working fine. Just as Petko wrote: take one of your fields (probably Name[ in your example) and map it to "Documents". The naming is a bit awkward, but this means the "document" name. You will probably run into pro...

Re: Welcome to MI

Marcus, you already have had a lot to read, but I will nevertheless go thru the remaining issues. b) own structured lists with long text: what you know by now is that MI's search caps are not comparable with askSam's. In addition there is no report generator and there is no "Show" command ...

Re: Welcome to MI

Marcus, I will go over the items one by one, because time is a bit limited currently. a) full text databases: you can import documents in MyInfo, but for PDF the textual contents is currently not extracted for searching. The PDF can be embedded and viewed directly in MYinfo and there is a notes wind...
