Hello Petko,
as per topic title, emptying the trash bin doesn't reduce notebook size.
1. I created a copy a 45.768 kb myinfo notebook file.
2. I made the copy "unique" after opening it in MyInfo.
3. I deleted all the notes.
4. I opened the notebook trash bin (menu > view > trash) and clicked on "Empty Trash" button
The notebook file size is still 45.768 kb.
By the way: I copied the database (instead of starting from a blank one) to preserve the styles I defined in the original notebook.
Is there another way to preserve the custom defined styles from a notebook to a new notebook, or to make them the default stiles when creating a new database?
Thank you,
Alex

There are two ways: you can either create a new notebook and import the old one via File > Import > MyInfo Notebook, or you can place the original in the Templates folder and use it as a template (C:\Users\Petko\AppData\Roaming\MyInfo 7\Templates).
As for the Trash, please note that emptying the trash still created a notebook revision, which is stored in the notebook file. So this data will be freed up when the revision is deleted (when you make more than 20 changes to the notebook afterwards). I will add a button for doing it manually.
