Import PDF into Notebook

Post by Celtic »

Hi all.

New to MyInfo, but have a question.

I found out that when I drag a Word file to the Section Notes window it imports a link instead of importing the actual file. However, once I opened and saved the Word file in word as docx, then it imports the file into the notebook. At least it seemed to work that way.

My question is though, when I drag a PDF into the Section Notes Window, it only seems to link to the actual file.
Is there any way to import the PDF into the notebook?

Thank you for your consideration.

If you insert the same file via Insert > Notes From Files, does it work correctly?

Thank you Petko for your reply.

I tried that now.
The icon is different (a colored note icon), instead of a PDF icon.
I just noticed that if I hover over the underlined name of the PDF (regardless of whether I dragged it to the Notes Window or use the method you suggested, it says "Stored Content (pathname)". Does this mean it is stored 'inside' the notebook?

[I assumed it was just a link due to the blue underlined title, and if I clicked on that title, it opened the PDF in an external reader].

Yes, if it says Stored Content, than it is stored inside the notebook.
