Auto Backup not saving to folder changed in settings.

Post by lbw2112 »

Newest installed version. Changed backup directory in settings but MyInfo backing up to folder where I have the Notebook files.

I uninstalled, deleted the MyInfo folders from User Local and Roaming and then re-install program to try to fix it but still sending backup files to directory I have the notebook files.

Any ideas? Something easy I'm missing?

Thanks,
Larry

The issue seems to have been resolved by re-installing. I was using the portable version before installing the Installation version. Took it a restart or two after clearing the files out.

Nope, it's still not working. Backups are going to the Notebook folder, not the folder I have set for Backups.
MyInfo 8075 Installation version.

Update:
Yea, it's me again...

Ok, this morning it erred and sent the backup to the Notebook folder.
This evening it did it correct again and sent it to the Backup folder in settings.

Just like yesterday. Strange.

Think it's working right now.

I uninstalled MyInfo 8 again with a Uninstaller that gets rid of everything a program installs. I checked for anything it might have missed in the User directory and got rid of that. I re-installed MyInfo 8 without importing any settings when it starts up for first time and just set them up manually. It now sends the backups to the folder I have it set for.

So, yay.
