What are limitations to an MNB file?

MNB Limitations
J, I'm not sure what you mean by "MyInfo is lagging."
Do you mean that it takes more time for the program to open, that it takes longer to paint a screen when switching notes, etc.? If you can give us some examples, it might help me or other readers who are trying to see if we can reproduce your issues.
For instance, I've noticed that with my much smaller database (6 MB), MyInfo seems to be taking longer to open -- "paint the screen". While not a huge difference in time, I now notice that Note List panel displays first and then about two seconds later the Note editor panel displays the text in the note. If I then switch to another Note, there is a brief flash of "Loading..." that appears at the top of the screen before the words appear in the Note editor.
Are you concerns similar to this? Or do you have other issues that you could share with us?

Have you tried running "compact notebook" manually? I do that frequently just to shave off any excess bulk.
Is the lag temporally, so happening once in the X day's or it's it permanent state? The auto-backup feature tends to cause a (temporal) freeze during the backup process; especially noticeable with larger notebooks. [See: Tools -> Options -> Save & Backup]
While in MyInfo, I click on a section and when I scroll down the navigation tree it is sluggish, I can see there is a small delay as I am scrolling, I can goto a web site, Excel, Word document, any other application and when scrolling it is smooth and fluid without any delay, I am guessing I have too much information in MyInfo and will need to separate the sections into their on MNB files.

99% of the time I work in the Main perspective without columns, I only use columns in user created list perspectives, so no additional columns. Today MI seems to be running without any delays, it could be a virus scanner was running or another work application however I checked and the CPU was at 32% and the RAM was 68% used so there were plenty of system resources when I noticed the delay.
