Tabbed notes

Post by nocar »

I would like to recommend being able to open two or more notes via tabs above the editor pane as can be done with Obsidian or Ultra Recall. Is that in the plans for a future version or update of MyInfo? Thanks.

Thanks for the very quick reply. And thanks for the information about the addition of tabbed notes.

Telesto, you are absolutely correct. I forgot that I had previously posted the same request. I apologize for the duplication.

But the good news -- at least for me -- is that Petko is now considering implementing multiple tabs in a future major upgrade.

No need to apologize. It's more a personal taste of having cross-references. With multiple threads about the same topic, remarks and other comments might get lost.

True. Although, keep in mind; it's quite strategic answer. The phrase does give lot of flexibility: "considering" + "in a" [nearby or distant] + "major upgrade" ['normally' every: 12-18 months]. It's rather good phrase of not saying to much at all, except the feature request reporter getting acknowledgement from Petko of the post being read. The phrase being used more often in the forum . So it might take a while, I guess. The development cycle isn't that fast. OTOH: MyInfo is quite stable and bug free; and bugs get actually addressed when encountered.
