I have installed version 8.5.4 of MyInfo.
Currently the configuration is such that when I hover over a linked file (the file is stored locally on the hard drive and I link to this file), a pop-up window appears saying "CTRL + Click to open the file". How can I change this? I would like the default behavior to be that as soon as I hover over the link, the link function is activated — meaning I can open it with a single click, without having to press CTRL.

Open MyInfo
Go to Tools | Options | Advanced.
A dialog box opens including a scrollable list of checkbox options.
Click the 7th checkbox that reads: "Editor: single mouse click opens hyperlinks" and then the OK button.
When you now hover over your link to your disk file, the pop-up window will read: "Click to follow the link" and a single click without having to use the Ctrl key works.
