Making MyInfo a powerful to-do list

Post by Tomas »

MI has already some great functionality and here are few suggestions to make it a top to-do list software:

- as suggested earlier, to be able to run saved filters directly from a dropdown combo on the toolbar

- yes/no type column with icon format: to be able to bind it against completed task functionality. That would mean a one-click marking of done item and having it strike-through (if setup to maintain strike-through in compatibility options). Nowadays, one has to click through the icons and it takes 3 clicks to mark item done, not comfortable.

- new kind of time column: one that could be used to mark time it takes to accomplish task, and also allow TIMER. Thus if clicked on it, it will start a timer, and will be displaying and accumulating time spent so far. Moreover, the total values to be summed, ie. top document to sum up time values of all its subdocuments.

I believe that would bring MyInfo ahead of most specialized to-do software.
And wouldn't it be great to have both tasks and supporting material (notes) in one program?
