It would be nice to be able to save sorting options. For example, I have a todo list that I like to sort on two different columns most of the time. When I add things or want to view a different sorting arrangement I have to go and reselect the "default" sort that I usually use. It would be neat to have a drop-down, sort of like what we have for styles where you could save sort options. I guess different "views" would be another term for it.
I think that what you need is the new filter functionality in MyInfo 4. There you will be able to group and sort the filtered documents, so it will look exactly like what you are proposing.
I don't quite see how that's the same... but it is an awesome feature to add! I'll hold off on my judgement until I try it... it may be more than I asked for!
