problem with flickering display

Hello,

I tested MyInfo in an earlier version some time ago and wanted to give it another try.

Now, there's some behaviour in screen display, that's a bit annoying:
Whenever I click in the tree pane, the whole desktop is flickering, as if it is refreshed, but somewhat faster.

Fiddling around with several configurations didn't help.

Since I couldn't find a thread for this problem in the forum, I thought it might be a problem with my PC, but I tried it on a second machine with the same result.

So is it an usual phenomenon or can I do something about it?

I have never seen that issue.
What resolution do you run at? Mine is at 1280x1024 ... just guessing, but maybe a different resolution might work for you.

1680x1050. But I tried a few others ... always flickering.

Achim, what OS do you use? And do you have any desktop enchantment programs running, or it is just a normal Windows desktop?

Hi Petko,

I tested it on two PCs with XP pro. One of them totally fresh installed, without any modification.
Visual effects are set to optimal performance - no menu effects, no mouse shadow or whatever.
