[fixed in 6.02] inserting symbols

Post by wsp »

I use the Insert>Insert Symbol menu commands frequently for inserting accented characters in other languages, but I notice that the character chart always defaults to the Symbol font and Baltic character set. I change it to Georgia/Western character set, and that then remains the default as long as I keep MyInfo open.

But when I close and restart MyInfo, the default reverts to Symbol/Baltic again, and I have to jump through these hoops another time. Wouldn't it be possible to let the user establish his/her own default?

I will check, if we can make it remember last used font/character set.

Petko, I see that this problem is still unresolved in version 6 (I don't have access yet to 6.01), except that the defaults now are Symbol/Unicode. In other words, I still can't set my own permanent defaults.
