Search results - group by parent document?

I've been using the journal templates and whenever I search for something I end up with a results pane that looks like this:

If possible, it would be nice to be able to group results with their parent documents (e.g. all search results from January grouped together, February, etc.)

(If this is already possible and I just missed it, please let me know! )
