Multiple tabs within one section

If I want to look at two items within a single section of a database, I have to open the second item in a new window which essentially duplicates the file explorer, the menus, the section tabs, etc. as well as opening the second item in that new window. I prefer to have multiple tabs for different items within one section of one window. Can that be created in a future upgrade to MyInfo 8?
Thanks.

I surely grasp the request. Although I'm unable to visualize a UI including proper workflow which would allow this. Somewhat connected: I would also like a side-by-side view. So having 2 notes op at the same time side-by-side.
It's possible to use the favorite toolbar as a work-around. So add the notes you need to the favorite toolbar. And switch between them as you like. Assuming you don't rely on the favorite toolbar in some other way

Question is UI design. The sections (and potentially subsections) are represented by tabs in MyInfo. This is in principle fine. However a different way tabs being used to show different documents (in editors). Say like NotePad++: each file is shown in a different tab.
Here the (common) use case for tabs collide, IMHO. Tabs showing representing sections. Tab representing different note.
A solution would be showing sections vertically (notebook panel). And using the current horizontal tab for showing multiple notes in parallel instead of having the use multiple windows. I might be overlooking some aspect/facet though.
