Indexing problems with imported or added plain text files

Global Search will not find words in the content of either imported plain text (.txt) or Treepad Lite (.hjt) files. It also does not find the content of plain text files added to MyInfo by drag-and-drop. But it does find words in the title.

There is a lack of indexing of the content. Reindexing does not solve the problem.

If I then make a single minor change to an imported or added plain text item such as adding a single space, capitalizing a word, or adding a period, MyInfo will then find searched for words within the contents of the item.

I am using MyInfo Professional, version 8.5.2 [8821].
I have tested this on both my Windows 10 desktop and my Windows 11 laptop.
Is this a known or reported problem? If so, can it and will it be fixed?

Thanks for any information.

This isn't reported before as far I'm aware. And yes, their appears to be a problem with indexing.

Steps to reproduce (in my case)
1. Some dummy text in notepad txt file with some content
2. Insert -> Notes from attachments -> Select the txt file in a new section
3. Set global search scope to: search in section. And type some keyword from the txt

Nothing found. Modification does trigger indexing, indeed
