Upgrading

I'm still using MyInfo 3.56. I have had bad experiences upgrading to new versions of programs so have become cautious about doing so. Features I like suddenly disappear, the app becomes unusable or, my worst nightmare, I find that my workspace is now eaten up by one, two or even three big panels. (What is the obsession with all the panels?)

When I was notified of the latest MyInfo version, one of the Improvements listed is: "MyInfo no longer reloads already loaded documents on mouse click in the tree." I don't really understand what this means. Can anyone tell me? One of the things I love about MyInfo is that it loads all the documents I was working on when I last shut it down, saving my workspace. Is this feature gone? Also, does version 3.59 still look the same? Just the tree and the editor showing? Or have panels been added.

There are no new panels in MyInfo 3.59.

And MyInfo no longer reloads already loaded documents on mouse click in the tree." means that you will see less flicker in the text editor when clicking on different fields in the tree editor. It does not interfere with any existing MyInfo features and MyInfo will open documents when you click on them as always.

In addition, please note that MyInfo 3.59 fixes some styles problems, which may be related to the style problems you are talking about in some of the other threads.
