I hope you would consider adding a Trash Can or Recycle Bin for deleted items, that operates in a similar manner as the one in Windows. That is, deleted topics are sent to the trash, and are only truly deleted when one empties the trash can. For an example of how that feature might be implemented you can check out the current version of Info Select, another PIM I tried before choosing MyInfo.
