Rename Topic

Post by jamal »

Is there any downside to renaming a topic by renaming the topic's file? I don't see another way of doing it.. or am I missing it? I thought I would find a rename option in Organize Topic, but there wasn't any. If renaming the windows file is the only way to rename a topic, I think a cleaner interface to do so belongs to Organize Topic, perhaps by a "rename" button.

MyInfo uses the topic file name minus its path and file extension as topic name, so renaming the topic name in Windows Explorer is all you need to do.

I agree that this little feature could be incorporated in some of the next MyInfo versions, so you will be able to save an extra step.

Petko, this has fallen throught the cracks. I believe a Rename Topic feature can be easily added to the File -> Organize Topics menu.

Just download the current release 6.03.
The rename topic function is already there.
