RTF as embedded file?

I would like to insert certain RTF files in MyInfo as data documents, because they use features supported by a special-purpose word processor.
If I use Insert | Document From File, the RTF file still comes in as a normal MyInfo document. Is there any way to accomplish what I'm trying to do -- to end up with an RTF file treated as a data document?

This is not possible currently, however maybe you can make it work. If you edit your RTF files with Microsoft Word (maybe it will work with other text processors, but I haven't tested it), you can use a slightly different file extension for the embedded file. For example name it Work.rich instead of Work.rtf. Then try to open this file in Windows Explorer. It will tell you that it does not recognize this format, so you can Browse for a program to open it and select Word.
Now, you can insert this file in MyInfo and if you want to edit or view it, it will launch Microsoft Word and will work correctly.

I already tried using a different extension, but I found it became a big nuisance.
So please consider this a new wish-list item. Perhaps a program option could enable a popup during Insert | Document from File for an RTF file. The popup could ask whether the RTF should be embedded.
