Cannot print to one of two network printers - v3.54

We have 2 printers on our network, the HP 4050 workhorse and a color Konika Minolta. When I try to print a document to the color printer, I get just a flash of a dialog then nothing -- including no printout. Printing to the HP works fine.
When I copy the document's content and paste it into a Word document, it prints to the color machine fine.
Just a moment ago I tested color printing with another document in the same file and it caused MyInfo to crash ("Abnormal Termination").
What can I do to troubleshoot this either as a bug to be fixed or just so I can get my color items to print?
BTW - I'm in a software development shop so I can go beyond the ordinary to help.
