Hi,

I had this problem since v3.5... seemed to have been fixed, but
now it shows up again.

I have 9 topics.
Randomly, search ignores to search string "x" in one particular topic "A".

So far, when I reindexed "A" right before the search, it
returned the correct answer. Please note that a lot of times, I don't
even modify topic "A".
Reindexing option worked so far as a temporary solution...

However, as I made some major changes in topic A again...
it stopped searching in that topic.

It is hard to use the software because I access "A" quite extensively.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Alex, we have found a search indexing problem, which may be the reason for your problems. We are going to release a minor update of MyInfo, when we fix it (along with some other issues).

I added a bunch fo Documents and was testing search. It was failing to find one or more of the documents.

Tried Exiting MyInfo and that didn't resolve it.

I Reindexed the topic and that fixed it.

I could then even edit an existing Document and add my search term and then that Document would show up properly in the search.
