Could 4.0 beta MIO files be causing problems in MyInfo 4.1?

Greetings! I purchased MyInfo 4.10 Standard today, in order to open and continue with some outlines that I created some time ago when evaluating using the 4.0 Beta. Looking forward to many years of satisfaction!

MyInfo crashes when selecting a particular formerly-defined Filter. (I can't delete it since it must be selected in order to Edit then Delete it.)

And, when creating a new filter, it does not always "stick", giving "no documents" when I know the filter is valid. (Simple filter, one criterion, based on a custom Yes/No field).

I was probably warned to "not use the Beta for real data"... :-)

If the problem is because it was a 4.0 Beta MIO file... is there any way to "cleanse" the file so the data can be used in 4.1? I tried export to TreePad, then import, yet it looses the column data (of course) but also the images pasted into texts are ruined -they become unreadable.

Any help appreciated, with thanks and best regards,

Dan, as far as I remember, filters were changed in the final version of MyInfo 4 and this is the reason why this filter crashes. You can delete manually here:
C:\Documents and Settings\{Windows username}\Application Data\Milenix\MyInfo\4\Filters

The problem with the "non sticking" filter is unknown for me. Maybe if you could send me a sample file and instructions how to reproduce this problem, we can fix it for the next service release.

As for cleaning the topic, you can try to copy and paste all documents in a new topic (of course, you have to create the corresponding columns in the destination topic, if you want to retain the column data, as they appear in the source file).

Thank you! All resoloved.
(1) Filter crashing: Removed the old custom Filters.
(2) Filter "not sticking" - This was probably user error, long story.

Many thanks.
