For comment attribute:
1. When I run the cursor over it in the columns or attributes panel it doesn't show the full comment as implied in the help section.
2. Double click over the comment column for a document opens its "edit" dialog box when in the filter pane but not when in the tree pane.

Is this a known problem?

It works for us. Could you give more details, for example are you using vertical/horizontal pane, where is the comment, related to the screen edges and so on?
