Error message "Cannot create backup file"

I am trying to use Myinfo (4.3x) on a MAC with Parallels Desktop 4.0. I can open Myinfo OK but if I modify it and try to save the file I get the message "Cannot create backup file".
What to do?

Are you using the desktop or the portable edition of MyInfo?
Anyway, you can workaround that problem by turning off the Always Create Backup Copy option in Tools > Options > Save.

I am using the desktop version of MyInfo. I tried turning of the backup command, and it works OK.
