Major problem with a Topic - Document names moved

Hi:
I have a strange error that has come up in a Topic. All of my "Documents" Names have been moved to a new Attribute called "Built-in Attribute 1". All of the entries in the Documents attribute have been deleted.
I do not know how to unwind this - please reply with a recommendation.
