Sometime in the last couple of updates, search highlighting was broken.

If you click on a search result, it should highlight and scroll the topic to the found search term.

It no longer does this for long topics. There seems to be a limit to how far it will scroll to highlight a found search term.

After some more experimenting, here is the problem...

Search scrolls to the first orange highlighted text it finds in the topic.

If you've permanently highlighted text with this color, search always scrolls to that text rather than the first temporarily highlighted search result.

Maybe search can use a special highlighting color not available for general editing?

Or, I can change my highlighting color in the problem topics...

Seth, this is so by design. If both colors match, then MyInfo scrolls to the first highlighted piece of text. We will think about changing that in the future.

So, currently, the only workaround is to change the search color (just a little bit, so that they don't match exactly).
