I know that there is the possibility to open one than more document by clicking on the symbol "Open in new window" (top right of the text editor pane). But to my mind this method is more a workaround because it is not very comfortable.*
*(A window opens - but when you click to open another document this windows "disappears", i.e. it is minimzed; in case that you open more documents you must have in mind the main window of MyInfo plus the minimized windows in the taskbar; for editing you must change from the minimized window to MyInfo's main window etc.etc.).
Wouldn' it be useful if there were an (additional) option to open multiple documents via tabs? This is a method I saw being realized for example in the program "TreeProjects":
Here the option called "Open each item [= document] in a separate tab":
And this is the appearance when choosing this option and selecting for example four documents:
---> You can see (above the formatting toolbar) the tabs for the 4 selected documents (titles: "Tafel", "Abholzen", "Gabel" and "Abkaufen"). With a simple mouse click on the particular tab I can open/view the document in the text editor below and toggle between the documents.
This is very comfortable if you have to modify multiple documents simultaneously or if you want to compare their contents.
