Hi everyone,

I'm eval'ing MyInfo right now and overall it seems like a really good solution for what I'm trying to do, but there's one thing that's maddening to me.

When I open a new Blank Topic or Blank Outline, the screen display shows the Documents window above the Editor window. Let's call this "Horizontal Mode" It drives me nuts.

But, when I open a Blank Diary entry, it shows the Document window to the left of the Editor window, what I'll call "Vertical" mode.

How can I make the Topic/Outline template show in Vertical mode? Is there some shortcut or setting I'm missing? This feels so simple, but I'm just missing it.

You can change the horizontal/vertical mode via File > Properties & Security > Appearance > Use Horizontal Panes. This option is per-topic.

Normally, Blank Topic uses vertical mode and Blank Outline uses horizontal mode. Are you sure that both Blank Topic and Blank Outline result in horizontal mode for you?
