[solved] 2 Notebooks open and posting to the wrong one

Hi,

Sorry for this basic problem..

I have 8.3.0 [7995], MyInfoCore 1.12.0+7991 Win 10 Pro 64.

Somehow my girl ended up with 2 Notebooks open instead of just one and I see for the last few days has been posting to the wrong one

The names are
Main one
LEE-JAN2023
(This is what I see lower screen > Notes in Perspec 1454 Level 2 Siblings 168 of 1406 Children 0)

Other one
LEE-JAN2023-Exported backup ( Not sure how that even came about)
(This is what I see lower screen > Notes in Perspec 1452 Level 2 Siblings 280 of 1408 Children 0)

How can I get the extra data from the other version to the Main one? Is there a way to do this.

Then How do I set it up so that only the main notebook shows up every time?

You can see what was recently changed in LEE-JAN2023-Exported backup using Tools > Recent Edits > Last X days and compare that with the same for the main notebook.

The -exported backup was probably produced by File > Open Backup.

After you transfer the changed notes from the backup to the main one, just close the backup notebook. Later you can delete it once you are sure everything was transferred to the main one.
