I currently use Ultra Recall, it provides the ability to create complex searches and save them for future use.

Create Saved Searches ( Ultra Recall ) based on attributes and values ( text, dates, etc ) including Boolean operators < AND, OR, Contain, Does not contain, Exact, Is One of, In Not One of, etc )

Example 1
Tools - Search - Create New ( Manage would show existing searches )
Title is underneath ( button to navigate to tree appears ) and you select the starting point
Attribute - Date is greater than xx/xx/xxxx
Save the search as "Any Name"

Example 2
Tools - Search - Create New ( Manage would show existing searches )
Title is underneath ( button to navigate to tree appears ) and you select the starting point
Attribute - Server OS = Red Hat Linux
Operator AND
Attribute - Server Version = 7.0
Save the search as "Any Name"
