Hi Petko:
I think I asked about this for version 7. Are there plans to be able to index links to external files?
Thank you.

Join and split notes
Hi Petko:
Are there plans to add these features so I can define a delimiter and split very large notes or join selected notes?
Thank you.

Re: Export to web site
Correct, but also the attachments in the tree. See the attached examples. The originating MI file and the resulting web site.Petko wrote: Wed May 11, 2022 10:36 am I am assuming you are talking about note attachments at the bottom of the note editor?
Thank you for looking into this.

[fixed] Export to web site
Hi Petko:
When using this feature I see that links to attachments point to local files. Would it not be better to export the attachments to a folder relative to the website? That way the links will work when posting the website.
EDIT: I should have investigated further. The attachments ARE created ...

Re: Compacting a file
Hi Petko:
Has this been totally fixed? I ask because while it is better I still experience what I think is an overly large file. For example, I had a database consisting of just 68 notes, The size was 27MB. After deleting all notes, clearing the revisions and emptying the trash, the size is just ...

Re: Compacting a file
Thing is, this was informational storage for a research project. None of the captured pages were altered. I see the revisions were at the default setting (20) but I assume that with no changes, there was no space being used. Is this an incorrect assumption?

[fixed] Compacting a file
Hi Petko:
I had a large database with several sections. After reorganizing, I decided to delete most sections and then empty the trash. I should note that the database was around 1GB and the deleted sections represented about 90% of the file size. Compacting the file did not reduce the size as ...

Re: Global Search Results Missing item
Just a thought. You are searching for dog, right? Could you try searching for "dog*" (without the quotes)? Does this work?

Search with NEAR
All instances of the words are highlighted when I use this term. Shouldn't it just be the section where the words are in close proximity?
Thank you.

Re: Export All Docs To Original Source Files (Feature Request)
Maybe I am misunderstanding. You made the point in another thread about editing a docx file in MyInfo. And while editing options in MI are basic, I imagine there would be instances when unintended formatting changes or incompatibilities would arise. This would be a problem for someone expecting ...
