Sort Tabs alphabetically

I found this option in the customize / view commands.
But it does nothing, altough not what I expected.
How do I use it?

In which browser did you find it? In Chrome, there is an extension known as Tab Sorter. I think it helps to organize the tabs. It is also compatible with many other browsers. In Excel sheets there's also a procedure for organizing files in ascending or descending order.
