I am a new user sorry for what should be a simple question.
Is it possible to copy text that includes a link to a file and paste it into a new note and keep the link?
any pasting I do seems to be unformatted text.
Copy Links
It should be the case, in principle. So the question is, why is the hyperlink lost. In my simple test case:John wrote: Fri Apr 28, 2023 10:22 pm I am a new user sorry for what should be a simple question.

1. Open Word
2. Type some text
3. Right click the word -> Add hyperlink
4. Link to somewhere
5. CTRL+A
6. CTRL+C
7. CTRL+V (or right click paste) in MyInfo -> Pastes text with link.
The link is lost when pasting CTRL+SHIFT+V (which pasting unformatted text).
Telesto, thanks for taking the time to respond, but I am sorry I did not make my question clear.
What I am wishing to know is how to copy text with hyperlinks from one myinfo note to another myinfo note.

I'm seeing no issue. I'm able to paste with link across programs as within MyInfo. So apparently there is something more to it.John wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 9:04 pm Telesto, thanks for taking the time to respond, but I am sorry I did not make my question clear.

What I tried
1. Select text with link in the Editor part of MyInfo
2. CTRL+C
3. Create a new note
4. CTRL+V
I was using a trial version. I have now purchased a copy and installed the paid version and presto copying and pastings of links is working.
Sorry for wasting your time with this.
