Notes Structure Pane

If I select several rows and change them to Heading 5 I see they properly indent in the Notes Structure Pane. If I select the indented rows and select the Numbering icon, the numbers appear in the body but not in the Notes Structure Pane. For now I need to manually type a number at the beginning of each row for the numbers to appear in the Notes Structure Pane.

I would say the nicest thing would be to modify styles to includes (automatic) numbering. Maybe something like this:
