Perspective - Title Wrap

Post by noone22 »

Please consider adding wrapping to all visible columns in the perspective. Yes you can increase the width of the title column but when doing so it shrinks the amount of the notes editor space that can be seen.

Title Start End

Example: When shrinking the title
Title Start End
Mary Had A Little 12/31/2024 11:30 AM 12/31/2024 12:30 PM

Looking to wrap all of the visible columns ( each column independently )
Title Start End

Lamb 11:30 AM 12:30 PM

MyInfo can do this already, I guess. Right Click a Section Tab -> Section Properties -> Multiline Note Titles.

Telesto - thx, that works great using the Main perspective, however it does not work on user created list perspectives where you add multiple columns.

For clarification:
[*] Main Perspective can be 'converted to list' if it doesn't contain any hierarchy (Right Click on Main Perspective button; convert)
[*] You can add additional columns to the main perspective
[*] Wrap isn't limited to Main Perspective. It applies to all perspectives of a section. It is hover limited to the Title Column

I admit that Wrap being limited to only title can be annoying, if you're working with multi columns. You can't simply scroll through the list and read all the relevant columns (like in Excel with Wrap ON). You constantly have the hoover over clipped items

Fine grained control to enable wrap for each column individually would indeed be nice to have.
