Can I import
CSV type files? It doesn't look like it to me but I'm not familiar w some of the file types listed in the Import dialog. If this does not exist I think MI should offer this; I am not technically astute enough to write a plug-in as suggested in the help file. Thank you.

No, not currently supported. I agree with you 100% here and, if I recall correctly, petko mentioned that future versions would have sort of treepane export.
Personally, I think there should be a few more standard plugins for the import/export... I likewise would really like to be able to export data (even just a highly customizable rtf) but don't have the wherewithall to write a plugin.
