Considering buying MyInfo & some questions

Hello,

I'm considering buying a license for MyInfo but I have some questions.

1. Is it/will it (in version 4) be possible to attach more than one file to a topic?
2. Is it/will it (in version 4) be possible to save an inserted picture in a document as a picture (gif, jpeg or png) instead just as rtf or html?
3. Is/will desktop search (in my case copernic) be supported (nice to have, but not very important. But would be a really nice feature)
4. How big can a database be? Is there a size limit?
5. Will the tag function made easier accessible?

If you mean if it is possible to attach more than one file to a document (that is a node in the tree), it is not possible.

This is not currently possible.

MyInfo can search in all MyInfo files in your My Topics folder, so we decided that there is no need for desktop search support currently.

4. How big can a database be? Is there a size limit?

There is no hard-coded limit for the database size. Practically, this means that the file size is limited by your computer resources. If the program becomes slow, than you need to split the information in more databases.

5. Will the tag function made easier accessible?

What do you want to see improved in the tag function?

If you mean if it is possible to attach more than one file to a document (that is a node in the tree), it is not possible.

This is pity because it would be nice to for example have a list of embedded files in the "Embedded Files" tab where I could embed more than one file. An other solution could be to embed every file in his own "Embedded Files" tab.

This is not currently possible.

But when I export an document as html all the embedded images will also be exported in a picture folder that is used by the html document. Wouldn't be possible to make such a html-export just without the html part?!?
A really easy solution for this problem would be to create a menu point "Export all images", which does the same as "export as html" just without the creation of an html file.
Further it would be nice if the filename of an inserted image in a document would be somehow preserved. Because when the pictures of an html file are exported to a "DOCUMENT NAME_files" folder they just have filenames like 1.jpeg, 2.jpeg ...

MyInfo can search in all MyInfo files in your My Topics folder, so we decided that there is no need for desktop search support currently.

I understand. But in my opinion it's really great if an application is good intigrated into existing os infrastructure.

5. Will the tag function made easier accessible?

What do you want to see improved in the tag function?

For example it would be nice to have a drop down menu with all the saved filters in the tool bar where they are immediately accessible without digging into the filters window.
