Edit embedded Excel and Word files inline

At some point a few days ago it seemed I did something to allow me to edit an embedded word file in the viewing pane of MI4. But I can't seem to do it anymore. Is this possible to do with Word and Excel. It would be a huge time saver for me.

Figured out I did a document from file with a word doc. You can edit this inline but can't do it with an Excel spreadsheet.
