Bug 3.52 - relative hyperlinks ? still not working

Pasted links to documents in other topics still seem to to be non relative

e.g. myinfo://O:\DaneElec\documents\Notes\Papers.mio*87

- I still have 'relative links if possible' ticked.

They are pasted as non-relative links, but will work even if you change the folder, where your topics are stored.

OK - I understand.

I have my file on a portable USB drive which changes letters depending upon which computer I'm using. (i don't have administrator privileges so I can't alter this).

I assumed that because the link contains the original drive letter it wouldn't work when I got onto my work computer. I see now it does. I still don't understand how the link points to a file on disk o: and manages to find the true file on disk E: - must be magic!
