Apply tags to children function

I'm not sure if this is a bug with MI5 or if it was there with MI4, but when I use the "apply tags to children" function in the task pane, it overwrites any other tags that I may have added to subdocuments rather than just adding the parent's tag. Any way to fix that?

This is so by design currently. I agree that it could be improved in the future.

Do you think that other attributes will benefit of the ability to add information, instead of replacing it? Maybe the category attributes..

I don't use the category feature as much as tags, so I don't have a good sense of how useful that would be.
